Time is flying

First, I want to say I am soooo appreciative for my new family blog look. My very sweet friend Elizabeth offered to change my header so that Finley is in the pictures. I am so very grateful because I know if I would have had to pay someone, it wouldn't have been cheap!

It seems like January flew by. We spent this week going to activities (gymnastics, church, etc) and watching the backyard almost be finished!

Today they are installing the lights/ceiling fans, sealing the wood, and starting to brick the double sided fireplace. The only thing we will have left is for the audio visual company to come finish their job and install the speakers and tv rack. We also have a landscaper who is patiently waiting to plant trees, sod, etc. We are so blessed!

Finley has been into climbing lately. I keep punishing her because it's dangerous, but she just laughs.

I took Will and Allison to church Wednesday. I love these kids so much.

Yesterday Christa and I met with our friends Jessica and Tracy at Target to shop for another Dec My Room. We are decking a 9 year old boys room on Tuesday.

We have a biter!

Finley has decided that biting is fun. I try and discipline her, but she just laughs. Sometimes she will just bite me out of nowhere!

She is too cute! She looks just like the other girls at this age. When I ask her what a cow says, she says "boo".

I love these girls so much! They all have the cutest personalities.

Dave and I are in a push to finish all of our unfinished projects. I cleaned our media (junk room) out so that we coukd use it. The room has nice surround sound speakers. We didn't want to spend a fortune on a screen/projector, so we bought a 70 inch at Costco.

Before

After

We moved the leather couch from the game room (it was too big for the space) to the media room. I convinced Dave we should rent a uhaul and go pick up the big items on our list.

I love this ikea couch because it is better for the space and it is a dark color!

Shelf for outside that I bought at Home Goods. I'm going to buy baskets to use for goggles, sunscreen, etc.

Funny story about the Uhaul. Every time we would drop off a load at our house, our neighborhood security guy would drive up to check things out. I'm not complaining because I am grateful for the diligence, but after the third time it was too funny.

Christa and Brad came over to help put together things. They are awesome!

We are so blessed!

It's cold again!

We have been so busy! I feel like I say this over and over!

On Saturday I took the Isabella and Sophia to paint pottery while Dave worked and watched Finley.

Dave sent me this picture!

Sunday we went to Towne Lake's chili cook off and then Monday we were invited to a neighbor'sValentines play date.

The girls and I made chocolate covered Twinkies to bring to play date.

We have had so much progress on our patio!

Dave and I went on a date last night!
