Will the real Santa Please stand up.

Ok...I love my girls ...they are so sweet and so innocent and so smart...all three of them!!! My plan was to take them to sit on Santa's lap, wearing matching outfits of course!

I felt bad because I took Isabella when she was 4 months, and then again at 16 months..then nothing... No Santa for Sophia or Isabella...

Soo...I was on a mission today:)

We showed up at Katy Mills mall around 12:45...we find the VERY LONG Santa line...we were in it for a few minutes before we were told Santaxwas taking an hour long break between 1-2... WHAT!!!!! REALLY!!! This is what I was thinking with a 5, 4, and 4 month old...he has to take the full hour? I never got an hour for lunch as a teacher!!! So I was a bit aggravated, but the girls were being Angels , and Sophia has a bad cold..so we waited...and waited...

And then the girl behind us got a call from her husband who told her that there was a Bass Pro Santa who was not on break! We went, waited patiently and got 2 free pictures:)

I just wondered how Isavelks processed all the moves to different Santa's..she told me " mom, Santa left so he could see other children:)"... We are so blessed!!

We met my sweet friend Melissa because she had a awesome gift for our family...snowball fight..the girls love it !!! They were pelting Finley and I on the couch from upstairs..

We ordered pizza from Isavella Mia...yum!!! Life is great!!

Oh, then we watched Troop Beverly Hills!!!

Holidays here we come!!

For the past 14 years this day has been memorable..it was always an easy, breezy day before a wonderful 2 week vacation. I still appreciate it because now I get to see my husband and kids nonstop for 2 weeks:)

Isabella had a pj day at school where they got a special book read to them and hot coco with marshmallows. We had to sign a special note allowing them to basically have fun instead of pencil and paper work.

I dropped the girls off, worked out (710 calories) and then got ready. I am very late with this picture...I am being a cheapskate and using Charlotte's stickers!

I got into the dreaded car rider line about an hour early and then surprised Isabella by taking her into town to Build a Bear. I promised her I would take her before Christmas (after Sophia came back from a bday party with a huge stuffed decked out my little pony)...I decided it would be cheaper to leave Sophia at school and just pick up a small trinket for her Sparkly Pony.

We picked up Sophia and headed back home.. It was 4 pm and we were in our pjs telling Dave to come home because we were hungry:) Life is good and we appreciate it!

2 more things...

The girls will be excited when they find Zac and Domino:)

Also, I ordered Isabella a
Daisy American Girl Doll outfit on Amazon..she is going to love it! I think I paid 15.00...score!

Life is great!!

We are so so appreciative!!! Today was good. Dave and Brad took off to go work on repairs for our condo (we have an investment property by city center that has an 80 year old tenant:)

The girls had dance and we got to watch:)

Wednesday

Wednesday was good.... I made a great dinner, cleaned, burned 700 calories at the gym.  I'm so grateful to spend all this extra time with Dave and the girls. Poor Finley has had bad gas the last few days.

Isabella has been learning about Christmas around the world everyday. Wednesday they learned about Mexico and made little pianatas out of paper bags.

I saw this pin on Pinterest and tried it. The girls loved it !!!

Great Day

Today was good. I had a mops meeting, worked out, got girls, made dinner, and then relaxed with the family.

The daycare ladies at the YMCA kept calling Finley a boy because of her outfit. I wasn't offended, but thought it was funny because she had a purple bib:)

Finley has had bad gas the last few days...I might buy her some baby prunes:)

Today at MOPS we donated shoes for am organization called Soles for Souls. I brought 24 pairs:)

The lead pastor at Copperfield Church spoke to us about the song Oh Holy Night. It was great!!! It originated in France in the early 1900s, written by a man who wasn't very religious.

We read to the girls and worked onsight  words:) Sophia's hair is getting so long!!!

Life is good:) we are blessed!
