So close!

We are so close to having this baby:)  I dropped the girls off at school and went to my doctor appointment.

They hooked me up to the stress test and then my doctor checked me.  I told him I was miserable!
He told me to come back Monday and if I was "open" then we could talk about an scheduling an induction for next week.  He told me that Dave and I need to be "doing it" to get me ready...I know that is tmi:)  So I came home with a big plan on how to get ready.  The plan is to walk 2 miles every day, eat lots of spicy food and pineapple, drink raspberry leaf tea, and I bought some primrose oil capsules...All of these things are very safe so hopefully it will work:)  I pray I don't go into labor on my own Tuesday or Wednesday because that is Dave's and Isabella's birthday.  If it is going to happen on one of those days, I pray it is on Dave's birthday:)

I made the crawfish etoufee freezer meal for dinner...It was VERY good!!!!

After Dave got home we walked a mile to the playground and then a mile back.  Thankfully it had cooled down so it was not too bad:)

Family Night

Today was a great day.  Christa called me bright and early and wanted for all the kids to hang out.  We decided they would come over and we would go to Hobby Lobby for the kids to pick out a craft to do.  Isabella and Allison made t-shirts and Abbey and Sophia decorated letters.

This evening Dave, the girls and I were invited over to dinner at one of my former co-workers house.  They are the nicest family ever!  Chris and his wife were very sweet and helped me with a project for my cultural counseling class.  They belong to the Mormon Church and I researched their religion for a project.  They were kind enough to invite me to their church and their house.  I was supposed to have dinner with their family (they have 10 kids ranging from 7 months to 17 years old) but I had to cancel because Christa found out she had cancer and I was too torn up to go over.  Chris called yesterday to invite us over and we had a great time.

Sophia and Isabella loved playing with their kids.  Everyone was so kind!  The thing I really enjoyed was the family night part.  All the kids had roles and everyone sang, read scripture, acted skits, etc.  I told Dave I would really like to incorporate a one night a week family night where we turn off all electronics and plan different family activities.  I could see reading a few books, maybe playing a board game, etc.  The girls love stuff like this:)

One more thing.  Today I pulled out my sewing machine and could not find an important piece.  I said the prayer to Saint Anthony (Patron Saint of lost items)...(and while saying the prayer I said that I understand it is not a real important item)...A couple of minutes later I tried looking for it in one more place and.......FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday

Today was pretty good.  I have the best husband ever. I am just so miserable right now.  He let me sleep in and took the girls swimming for a few hours.  Our friends Tara and Lance have been moving all weekend and needed to drop off a few things to store in our garage.  We ended up going to eat dinner with them:)

Isabella snuck my camera and took some pictures.

Birthday Party

Today we went to our friends' son's first birthday party. The girls had a great time playing with the kids.

After we stopped by Stein Mart for a few minutes because Dave needs some new work clothes. We then headed to Whole Foods to pick up dinner.  We love that store!

I haven't been feeling well at all today.  I have felt nauseous part of the day and had bad heart burn the other part.

I know I am not even close to labor, but I am entering into the "I am REALLY ready to have this baby mode".   I have 17 days until my due date.  Dave said, "we will have a baby in less than a month"...I just look at him like, it will be less than a month...I don't think guys realize how every day is such a big deal....When all of the data says you are full term at 37 weeks, you want to be that lucky person that goes into labor and comes home with your perfectly healthy baby:)

When I we got home my Boba arrived..:)

The Waiting Place

This is where I feel I am....From Dr. Seuss's book The Places You Will Go.  I feel like I am just waiting for the baby to come.  Dave was sweet and let me sleep in until 10:30.  I am just tired and cranky.
Yesterday Christa and the kids came over because her cleaning lady was coming. We met my friend Dawn and her daughter for lunch at All Star Family Grill in Richmond, Texas.

It is a great place to take kids because it has a couple of kid plays capes and section with games.
Our friends Tara and Lance are moving and needed a place to store a freezer and a fridge.  They came over and so did Ashlee and Danny.  Dave made brisket and I added wood chips all day.  It was pretty good:)

Sushi Time

Today was great.  I dropped the girls off at school and then I headed back home to do some graduate work.

I met up for lunch with Christa, baby Charlotte, my friends Diana and Lisa, and Diana's daughter.  We ate sushi at AKA on Eldridge...It was soo good!!!!

Today is my sister April's birthday so I had a nice conversation with her.  She really wants to move to Texas and hopefully it will happen soon!
My friend Lisa was very sweet and gave them some books.  They were super excited and we read them when we got home.

I ended up pulling out a freezer dinner for super (sandwiches).  They were ham and swiss on Hawaiian bread.

Dave put on Batman for him and the girls to watch.  I decided to sneak away and take a relaxing, hot bath...A couple of minutes after I was in the tub, Sophia came in and started undressing...she wanted to take a bath...and then a couple minutes later Isabella comes in and decides she wants to take a bath....too funny..It is a miracle that the three of us all fit.  My belly is HUGE!!!!!!
I have been trying to be good and not go crazy buying baby stuff.  We have been lucky that we have most stuff from the girls.  I have purchased a few small things here and there (rock and play, etc).  Today I was watching the Today Show and they did a segment on cool gadgets and items that help a baby sleep.  They spotlighted a carrier called "The Boba"...It looked very cool and comfortable.  I went online and read and ton of positive reviews...people were saying it is the best thing they bought...I found them on Amazon for 37.00...I bought one and can't wait to use it!!!!

The girls have been super silly and love posing for pictures and sneaking my phone and taking pictures of themselves:)
