After Alcatraz we had a fabulous rest of the day in San Francisco. We had lunch at Boudin's (place famous for their sour dough bread). We then took a cable car up to Chinatown. We had a great time shopping. Going up the steep hills was a hoot. Dave, Brad, and 2 preggos was a pretty funny sight. Both guys had to push us up many of the hills. Christa bought a Chinese hat in Chinatown that she wore for a few minutes. Dave said the hat was offensive, but she did not buy it to be offensive. At one point Christa got so tired she sat on the ground and laughed.
The plan was to go have a drink at Top of the Mark. It was a bar at the top of a fancy hotel. What a beautiful view! The guys had martinis and the girls had virgin pina coladas. Later that night we met up with one of Brad's old college friends at a very cool place called Water Bar.
